Nicole began her legal career in 2003 as a criminal defense investigator and then transitioned to a paralegal in civil litigation before attending Green River College in Washington and becoming a court reporter in 2016. She started reporting in state court as an official and worked her way up to providing realtime in a capital courtroom before transitioning to freelancing in 2021. Nicole is licensed in Arizona, California, and Washington. She holds an RPR certification through NCRA and an FCRR certification through USCRA.
Nicole’s current form of serving the steno community has been through mentoring students and new professionals. In her free time, Nicole and her daughter are hardcore Swifties (having seen the Eras Tour twice in 2023). She is an avid reader, a fitness enthusiast, and loves exploring new places with her husband.
